Join us in February for our month long celebration of mead. Every weekend at Rosewood Estates Winery in Beamsville Ontario we will be showcasing unique mead & food pairings. (4352 Mountainview Road, Beamsville 905-563-4383)
Free of charge come & enjoy our beautiful meads paired with delicious local foods. In honour of Heart Month we will be collecting a min $2 donation for the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Rosewood Estates Winery & Meadery is a local, family run boutique winery. We’re small and we like it this way, it allows us to create small batch high quality vintage driven wines. Rosewood is a winery, meadery and an apiary. As active beekeepers we also strive to make the highest quality honey, meads (honeywine), and VQA wines. We hope you’ve had the pleasure of enjoying some of our fine wines from the comfort of your own home, or at a local restaurant .
25 years ago, Rosewood owner Eugene Roman on his honeymoon in Niagara Falls promised his new wife Renata that they would one day develop a winery. 20 years later Rosewood was born and immediately became a family passion. Beginning in 2000 with the purchase of 40-acres on the remarkable Beamsville Bench, a vineyard was planted 3 years later. 2006 marked Rosewood’s first vintage and the vintage came out with a bang with two gold medals one at the Ontario Wine Awards, 1 for Pinot Gris and 1 for Merlot. Although a new winery, Eugene brought in experienced winemaker Natalie Spytkowsky to run the winemaking aspect of Rosewood. A short year later Rosewood became one of Canada’s top 20 wineries. Rosewood continued to make it’s mark in Niagara by becoming the first and only winery and honey wine producer.
The beekeeping operation is the brainchild of Eugene Roman, who has been a lifelong beekeeper, a hobby he adopted from his father and has passionately passed onto his children William and Krystina. Our bees help sustain the rich agriculture of Niagara and we’re proud to be sustainable farmers and beekeepers.
