The long and cool 2013 growing season in Niagara was tailor made for Cabernet Franc. The extended ripening time on the vine enabled the grapes to accumulate a wide array of ripe flavours, and our Origin Cabernet Franc carries these proudly. Red fruit aromas and flavours such as cherry, red currant and plum are complimented by cedar, dark chocolate and coffee. Tomato leaf, fresh mint and tobacco add an alluring herbal aspect to the wine. The palate has great concentration, terrific cool climate acidity and a long, charming finish.
