Rich and warming is the best way to describe the 2014 Ambrosia Mead. Flowers and honey show through immediately on the nose, along with ripe peach and marmalade. This Mead spent 3 years mellowing in French oak, and subtle hints of vanilla, caramel, cinnamon and butterscotch confirm this. There is an incredible richness and viscosity on the palate.
