  • 2011 Mima's Block Riesling

This elegant and graceful single vineyard Riesling is a tribute to our late Aunt Mima.  It shows bright notes of citrus fruit and white flowers, with a twist of green apple on the nose. Mouthwatering flavours of lime and lemon play across the palate with a lovely off-dry mineral finish. Enjoy chilled with seafood tempura, citrus salads, chicken stir fry and Pad Thai.

    Michael Pinkus 4.5 / 5 stars. Tasted April 2012.

  • 2011 Estate Riesling

Riesling likes to grow in clay and limestone soils, and the minerals in the soil often show through in the wine.  The 2011 Riesling is a great example of this, as it shows a distinct wet stone aroma.  Behind this is an intense citrus hit, like freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a touch of beeswax.  The palate is also not shy on showing citrus characters, along with green apple and honeydew melon.  The acidity is in perfect balance and it drives a very long finish.

Best served slightly chilled. Enjoy with spring salads, fresh goat cheese salads, fish and seafood dishes.

  • 2010 Chardonnay Reserve

This elegant and sophisticated Chardonnay has a young straw colour with a palate and nose of yellow pears, ripe pineapple, butterscotch, and vanilla bean.  The nose is reflected on the palate but also shows refreshing acidity and a well rounded long creamy finish.  Pair with roasted light game, lobster and rich creamy dishes. Enjoy chilled or cellar to 2016.  Only 94 cases produced.

"It’s bold and textured on the palate with Beamsville Bench personality, lovely mouthfeel, juicy fruits and surprisingly sharp acidity that puts it all into balance. One to buy and hold for a few years."         Rick VanSickle, 90 points. Tasted June 2012.

  • 2011 Sémillon

This refreshing 2011 Sémillon boasts aromas of white pepper, grapefruit, honeysuckle, with hints of lemon zest. The white pepper is present on the palate, along with fresh squeezed citrus acidity. The warm off-dry medium finish pairs perfectly with grilled salmon, roasted chicken and savoury Canadian cheeses. Best enjoyed chilled now or cellared for up to 10 years.

  • 2011 Long Rows White

Light gold in colour with pale green undertones; this wine begins with aromas of lemon zest, blood orange, gala apples and white peach.  Fresh pears on the palate combined with citrus, followed by green apple and peachs. Great balance has been isolated between the acidity and concentrated fruit sweetness. A great pairing for barbecued chicken, Asian cuisine such as Dim Sum, spring rolls and Pad Thai or with grilled lemon garlic shrimp. Best enjoyed chilled now or cellared until 2016.
