The entire Rosewood team enjoys spending time with our magical flying workers and it's an honour to bring select Niagara honey abd products to you. Here are just a few types of offerings of honey available at Rosewood and at select restaurants, cheese boutiques, fine food vendors and markets across Niagara, the GTA, and Toronto. At the winery we sell honey in various sizes and packaging, and during late summer and early autumn we have fresh honeycomb available. To order honeycomb or honey please contact - Karen LaVigne at delavigne@sympatico.ca . Please note that honey does not need to be refrigerated and if it begins to crystallize simply warm it up with warm or hot water and stir and continue to enjoy. Remember honey is nature's best preservative and it never goes bad.
Fresh creamed honey, honey which has a "creamy" consistency - great for morning toast, is available at the winery. Also available at the winery is Chunky-Honey (piece of honey comb jarred, then filled with honey), aswell as Nutty-Honey (roasted walnuts, jarred then filled with honey). Both are great on their own, over baked cheeses, or on-top mountains of ice-cream.
By fusing beeswax, grapeseed oil, and essence of lavender, Eugene makes 100% bee-u-tiful all-natural beeswax lip balms. This balm soothes and moisturizes lips, while providing protection from the sun. Often available in the summer months, but often out of stock, please email or call about the Bee-u-tiful lip balms. Flavoured Honey sticks are sold at Rosewood, they are often popular for children, or the sweet tooth’s of the party.
